Comprehensive Therapeutic Benefits of Taiji: A Critical Review

In this literature review of over 200 published reports, controlled research evidence was found to confirm the therapeutic benefits of Tai Chi practice for a variety of conditions and health issues. These included improved quality of life, enhanced physical function including activity tolerance and cardiovascular function, pain management, increased balance and reduced risk of falls, enhanced immune response, and improved flexibility, strength, and kinesthetic sense.
